Bay of Green Bay's dead zones could be getting worse, and scientists say climate change is the likely culprit

Since the early 1900s, the bay of Green Bay has been afflicted with recurring "dead zones," areas of the water where oxygen levels get too low to support aquatic life.

They essentially become underwater deserts.
