The Klode Park Beach shoreline in Whitefish Bay has been restored 2 years after it was damaged by a severe winter storm

The Village of Whitefish Bay has restored its Lake Michigan shoreline nearly two years after a severe winter storm damaged the beach at Klode Park.
In January 2020, a winter storm damaged the entire north portion of the beach and some of the south portion. Assistant Village Manager Tim Blakeslee said some areas suffered a dropoff of 10 feet where the sand had been washed away.
