Michigan Sea Grant to fund 6 Great Lakes studies

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A coalition between the University of Michigan, Michigan State University and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has approved nearly $1.7 million in grants to fund six different studies along the Great Lakes. Michigan Sea Grant announced this year’s round of studies will focus on everything from algal blooms to “blue gentrification.”
