The water provided by Manitowoc Public Utilities (MPU) is of excellent quality. MPU using microfiltration, a space age technology, to purify the water and then treats it with chlorine to ensure it’s safe for consumers to drink.
You may have heard reports regarding drinking water in various parts of the United States testing positive for trace amounts of medicines. MPU tests its water supply regularly to ensure that it exceeds the Environmental Protection Agency’s standards for water quality.
