Great Lakes water levels drifting away from record heights

The Great Lakes as a whole continue to slowly drift lower on water levels. The few Great Lakes that have been in record high water territory this past year are easing away from those milestones.

Lake Michigan and Lake Huron have been in the highest water state this past year, when compared to average. Those two lakes also have had the most human-impacting shoreline erosion in the past year.
